Quality has been noted as good, with very little internal and external moulds. Varieties at the moment are April Gold and Red Spanish with Purtons Pride and De Coppi starting next week. It was reported that there was quite alot of fruit now in the market, and with the weather being still quite warm sales have been slow.

It was noted that the main supply of Chestnuts into the Adelaide Wholesale Markets is fruit from VIC. Most Adelaide producers sell directly to the public or deliver to Retail outlets. There is no central transport operating as we see in the North East of Vic.
